'Blue Bloods' Fans Flood Donnie Wahlberg with Support After He Shares "Sentimental" Video

Donnie Wahlberg is celebrating—and for more reasons than one!

On April 5, the Blue Bloods star took to Instagram to express gratitude for another incredible season in the books, as well as New Kids On The Block Reunion Day.

“I can’t tell you all how fortunate I am to work with such an amazing cast and crew, nor can I ever properly express my gratitude to them and to all of you—our loyal fans and viewers,” he captioned a video of himself and his castmates on the final set day of Blue Bloods Season 13. “I can, however, promise to keep working my ass off to show you how incredibly thankful I am for this most wonderful opportunity to be welcomed into your homes (with my TV family) each week, to be part of your lives, and to have you as part of mine—and to be so blessed to do what I love to do every day. Thank you!”

In the video, Donnie (AKA Danny Reagan) and Marisa Ramirez (AKA Maria Baez) are seen dancing as the producer announces the wrap. After showing off his moves, Donnie took the time to shower the cast and crew in love.

“I’m not one to make speeches,” he joked, full-well knowing that he loves a good speech, and that everyone in his life is aware of it, too. “...The people who have been here a long time and the people who just showed up, you just fit right in, and just make every day being here wonderful… We’re very, very fortunate to be here and it’s not lost on me for a second ever, so just thank you, that’s all.”

Fans left comments like, "You are such an amazing person. Thank you for being so humble" and "I love how sentimental you are @donniewahlberg - I'm sure everyone appreciated your wrap up speech. So endearing ❤️."

At the close of the video, Donnie said “See you in July!” Because, to the surprise of absolutely no one and the delight of all, Blue Bloods has been picked up for a 14th season, which will air during fall 2023.

CBS is airing a rerun of Blue Bloods on April 14. The next new episode, "Family Matters," airs on April 21.
