'Blue Bloods' Fans Are Devastated Over the Latest Season 13 News
It's the most wonderful time of the year ... for the most part. Unfortunately for fans of many popular TV shows, December is when a lot of their favorite series go on hiatus, and Blue Bloods is no exception.
On December 9, the hit CBS drama aired its fall finale episode, and of course, it did not disappoint. But those who were hoping to get a few more Fridays on the couch with the Reagan family will be disappointed. The show isn't set to return with new episodes until January 6, 2023.
Bummer, we know! And we're not alone in your feelings. When the show posted an Instagram calling out that it was the fall finale, fans flocked to the post to comment that they couldn't believe it was already time for a break.
"Noooooo not the fall finale," one person wrote. "Fall finale all ready?" asked another. "Fall finale? We never had fall finales back in the day. Can we just have full uninterrupted seasons????" wrote another.
Of course, it's upsetting, but luckily, our favorite show will definitely return and be back better than ever in just a few weeks. We're hopeful that we'll actually get more seasons, too! Although season 14 hasn't been confirmed, Tom Selleck recently opened up and said he'd be more than willing to do more seasons as long as they'll have him.
That, plus some good reruns, is enough to keep us satisfied for now.
