Longtime fans of The Pioneer Woman probably remember Ree's Dr Pepper float recipe. With homemade vanilla ice cream and the beloved soda, it's a classic combo that really can't be topped—especially as a nostalgic summertime treat.

If the above statement has you nodding your head in agreement (while thinking back to days of soda fountains and ice cream parlors), then we've got some news that will really float your boat. Now, you can have that same delectable float flavor as an actual ice cream! The soda company has teamed up with Texas ice cream company, Blue Bell, to create a Dr Pepper Float ice cream flavor. Does it get any better than that? 😍

The new flavor takes two timeless tastes and merges them into one delightful creation with a creamy vanilla ice cream swirled together with a Dr Pepper flavored sherbet. According to the press release, "The flavor of Dr Pepper and the texture of the sherbet combine perfectly with the smooth vanilla ice cream. You may find yourself reaching for a soda glass instead of a bowl."

Sounds like it's time to put all of those Pioneer Woman ice cream scoops and bowls (or glasses) to good use! The collaboration is officially on shelves now in all 23 states where Blue Bell is available. Hey Ree and Ladd, that includes Oklahoma!

Other states that sell Blue Bell are: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wyoming.

Dr Pepper Float is available in the pint and half-gallon sizes, but only through 2024. So, you'll want to make sure you savor this sweet treat! Or just go ahead and stock up! We certainly won't judge. 😉
