Blown Away on Netflix viewers are all saying the same thing about the judges
You can always rely on Netflix to create a show we shouldn't be obsessed with, but totally are. First came Is It Cake?, and now it's Blown Away, a competition all about glass blowing. But since season three dropped last week, viewers have been taking to social media to share one complaint about the series: the judges' opinions.
As the official Netflix synopsis reads, "Blown Away is back for Season 3 with some of the glass world’s heaviest hitters, all competing for the title, Best In Glass. Ten glass artists have come to North America’s largest hot shop to push themselves to their creative limits.
"In each episode, the glassblowers must impress the Evaluators or risk being eliminated. At stake is a life-changing prize that will send their careers to new heights. Blown Away is hosted by Nick Uhas with Resident Evaluator and Glass Master Katherine Gray."
Head judge Katherine Gray is joined by a guest judge each week, and fans of the show have been taking to social media to insist they never agree with the decisions they make. Uh oh.
As one put it, "Watching the most recent season of Blown Away on Netflix and I disagree with the judges on almost every comment." Someone else said, "I must not understand art at all. I love watching Blown Away on Netflix but DESPISE the judges and don't agree with them 90% of the time."
A third added, " The judging comments are regularly inappropriately subjective."

I love Blown Away on Netflix, but the judges ruin it for me. Or at least the main judge. The judgment over what artists choose for THEIR OWN ART is just toxic.

Definitely not blown away by this Blown Away glass art show on Netflix ESPECIALLY because I think I’m somewhat wowed and the judges really criticise and dampen the mood.

I feel there needs to be a training course for reality TV and competition TV judges. Take “Blown Away”, for instance, the awesome glass blowing competition series on Netflix. The judging comments are regularly inappropriately subjective.

Others were big fans of the guest judges, though, with someone writing, "I love that they brought back Deborah Czeresko to judge the first episode of blown away season 3! She’s hilariously blunt."
