Who Is ‘Blonde’ Star Ana de Armas’s Boyfriend, Paul Boukadakis?

You probably recognize actress Ana de Armas from Blonde, Knives Out, The Gray Man, Deep Water or Blade Runner 2049. (Oh, and she's got an Oscar nom for her total transformation into Marilyn Monroe in Blonde). And while her dating history has her previously linked to Édgar Ramirez and Ben Affleck, did you know that she’s currently dating entrepreneur Paul Boukadakis?

If he looks familiar, it’s probably because he accompanied the War Dogs actress to the Venice Film Festival in 2022. But who is Ana de Armas’s boyfriend? And how did they meet? Keep scrolling for more details.

1. Who Is Ana de Armas’s Boyfriend?

Paul Boukadakis is an entrepreneur slash director. The 39-year-old was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he began his career as a music video director. "Before I started Ferris, I was a music video and commercial director for about ten years," Boukadakis told The App Guy podcast.

He then moved into the tech world and launched a video sharing app called Wheel (originally Ferris). By 2017, the app was acquired by Tinder, where he joined the team and has served as the Vice President of the dating app ever since. (NBD.)

2. Has He Ever Worked Alongside de Armas?

Unfortunately, Boukadakis has never directed or starred alongside de Armas, and now that he's the Vice President of Tinder, we're not sure when (or if) he'll ever return to the filmmaking world.

However, in his career, he has starred alongside a number of big names, including Dianna Agron (Glee), John Patrick Jordan (Them) and Ashley Rae Spillers (Rugrats).

3. How Did Ana De Armas and Paul Boukadakis Meet?

According to Elle, the couple met through a mutual friend during the pandemic. Since they couldn’t go out in public, they spent the early days of their relationship hanging out in the comfort of their homes. In 2022, they reportedly moved in together in New York City. De Armas hinted at her new relationship when asked about how she spent her 34th birthday while filming Ghosted. "I had everybody with me: my man, my dogs, Chris and the crew. I wasn't home having a romantic dinner; I was on set with my people doing what I love and at the beach and having a shot of Fireball," she told Elle. "So that was my 34th birthday. And it is the happiest I've been."

4. When Did They Become Official?

According to Page Six, the couple was dating for a couple of months and began getting serious when Boukadakis introduced the No Time To Die star to his family. In September 2021, the couple was photographed together for the first time at JFK and confirmed their relationship after being spotted kissing three months later.

5. Are They Social Media Official Yet?

Since 2021, the couple have been keeping things a bit private. De Armas posts on Instagram from time to time, but rarely shares Boukadakis or even mentions him in any post (unless you count seeing a familiar leg in the last photo of the gallery above). As for the Tinder exec, there is no sign of a social media presence...that we know of.

6. Have They Made Their Red Carpet Debut?

The pair indirectly made their relationship “official” when they attended the 79th annual Venice International Film Festival in honor of de Armas’s film, Blonde. Unfortunately, they didn’t pose for photos together on the red carpet. However, the Daily Mail captured footage of the duo during a water taxi ride through the city.

De Armas did share a nice cozy picture with her beau at the Vanity Fair afterparty in March 2023, so maybe there's hope for more of the cute couple down the line.
