Hollywood has experienced an unexpected loss.

On June 5, the family of Bling Empire star Anna Shay confirmed that the reality TV personality passed away following a stroke. She was 62.

“It saddens our hearts to announce that Anna Shay, a loving mother, grandmother, charismatic star, and our brightest ray of sunshine, has passed away at the early age of 62 from a stroke,” her family said in a statement to People. “Anna taught us many life lessons on how not to take life too seriously and to enjoy the finer things. Her impact on our lives will be forever missed but never forgotten.”

Shay, the wealthy daughter of Edward Shay, the founder of Pacific Architects and Engineers, became a household name by being an original cast member of the aforementioned Netflix docuseries.

Kevin Kreider, who co-starred on Bling Empire alongside Shay, penned a heartfelt tribute to the socialite following the news of her death.

"You never know when your last goodbye will be," he wrote on Instagram. "So unexpected and wished when I saw you last for lunch I would have taken a moment to smell the roses and had one last adventure with you."

Co-star Kelly Mi Li also took to Instagram, writing alongside a series of sweet photos, "RIP @annashay93 💔💔💔 you are truly one of a kind and we will miss you forever."

Kane Lim, who also appeared on Bling Empire, responded to this tribute with a simple crying emoji.

Shay's passing comes over a month after Netflix quietly canceled Bling Empire and its Dorothy Wang-led spinoff, Bling Empire: New York.
