Season 20 of The Voice wrapped up on Tuesday, May 25.
The season came down to a competition between Blake Shelton’s Cam Anthony and Kelly Clarkson’s Kenzie Wheeler.
Cam Anthony was crowned the season 20 winner.
Congratulations are in order for Cam Anthony!
After a spectacular performance of Bon Jovi's “Wanted Dead Or Alive,” the 19-year-old R&B singer was crowned the season 20 winner of The Voice on Tuesday, May 25.
Cam’s win is not only a major milestone for himself but his coach Blake Shelton, too. His win cemented Blake’s eighth win in 10 years, a feat no other judge can take credit for.
“Cam, your artistry has shown through all season and your impact to this show will live on for a lifetime,” Blake Shelton wrote on Twitter following Cam’s win. “Congratulations on the big win! Now time to celebrate!!!!!!!”
Of course, Blake isn’t the only one congratulating the Philadelphia native.
“He is [an] amazing talent!! He reminds me of a young Prince!! Congratulations Cam!” one Twitter user commented.
“Cam is amazing! Congrats to each of you!!! Another ‘W’ for team Blake,” someone else chimed in.
“Congrats to Cam. Such a well-deserved win. Philly is so proud.” another Twitter user wrote.
While fans were nothing short of supportive of Cam on Blake’s post, when you head over to Kelly Clarkson’s Twitter page, the tables turn for Kenzie Wheeler, Cam’s opponent in the finale.
“Pack your bags and head to Nashville... You will have a career with or without winning The Voice,” one fan wrote.
“Wish you could've both 2 won, either way, in my heart, I believe you are a hard worker & will pursue your career & I'll be hearing you on the radio soon. If not, a lot of us fans are going to be VERY disappointed because you made a lot of fans during your journey. YOU ARE AMAZING,” someone else added.
Here’s hoping we start hearing tunes from both of these talented musicians very soon!
