Blake Shelton just told an entire audience about how he and Gwen Stefani used to “mess around,” and Gwen looked shocked

Ever since they began dating in late 2015, they’ve never been shy about showing off their love. And now Blake Shelton joked onstage about “messin’ around” with Gwen Stefani, leaving his lady love looking totally shocked in the process. Allow us to explain.

On Friday night, Shelton was joined by Stefani onstage during a benefit concert at his brand new Ole Red Tishomingo venue in Oklahoma, and Stefani was on hand to support her man as he performed for an intimate crowd of 150 fans. But Stefani likely wasn’t expecting Shelton to get so personal with the audience, telling them about the origins of their romance, and her face is priceless.

“We started hanging out together and messing around…” he said, before Stefani looked totally surprised (especially since her oldest sons Zuma and Kingston were reportedly in the crowd. He then quipped, “…you know, texting each other.”

Wink wink…whatever you say, Blake!

All jokes aside, these two have been inseparable since they started dating, and we love that they support each other in their personal lives and in their music careers.

Proceeds from Shelton’s concert went to support J.C. Reaching Out, which is reportedly “a local charity that provides assistance to family members of people battling cancer,” according to the venue’s official site.

Shelton performed some of his biggest hits for the small group of lucky fans, including “Neon Light,” “A Guy with a Girl,” “The Baby,” “Every Time I Hear That Song,” and, of course, “Ol Red.” The venue officially opened for business the following night, and we’re sure Stefani is proud of Shelton, even if he did get a little TMI with his fans.
