While Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani tend to stay in different genres when it comes to their music style, they do collaborate occasionally. In a recent example, Shelton gave his wife's vocal style a try in a hilarious social media clip.
The "Nobody But You" singer posted a new video on TikTok singing the tune of Stefani's newest single, "True Babe," but with some questionable new lyrics.
In the video, Shelton is in the woods near their home. He wears a camo shirt and black backward cap as he shows off his truck bed and starts belting out, "Take the truck and cut up this tree, up this tree..."
Shelton's song follows the tune at the beginning of "True Babe," with the original lyrics reading, "Your tattoo still looks cute to me, cute to me."

While we don't think it's likely Stefani will go with Shelton's new lyrics, his rendition charmed fans, as one person commented, "lmao ur amazing even when ur not trying 🤣."
Some also agreed that the original lyrics are better, with the most-liked comment reading, "damn good thing you have song writers. 😂."
Another fan didn't immediately connect the dots and realize that Shelton was impersonating Stefani, saying, "I thought you were trying to impersonate Luke Bryan 😂."
