The Voice fans, it’s official: Blake Shelton is returning next season as a coach.

Ahead of the weekend, the Grammy-nominated country music singer took to TikTok to participate in another trend on the popular social media app. But this time, he wasn’t showing off new dance moves or sharing sweet clips of his wife Gwen Stefani. Instead, Blake subtly announced that he's coming back to The Voice for season 22. Though NBC hasn’t officially announced the renewal of the singing competition show, the “Come Back as a Country Boy” vocalist seemly confirmed that fans can expect the show to come back this September.

“#duet this if you’re going to be a coach on #TheVoice this fall..,” he captioned an 8-second video in which he sang MIKA’s 2007 single “Grace Kelly.”

Reacting to the news that Blake will be a coach on The Voice for the 12th year in a row, fans wasted no time swarming the comments section. “So d--- happy you are returning to the voice! Team Blake always!!!” one person wrote. “❤️ you Blake!!! Can’t wait to watch,” another added. “The voice is always a good time with Blake 🤟,” a different fan said.

As fans know, Blake has been on The Voice since it first premiered in 2011. Over the past decade, the Oklahoma native has sat alongside other established artists, including Gwen. In fact, the married couple of nearly a year met on the show. The No Doubt leading lady made her debut in season 7 and returned for three more installments.

Whether or not she’ll be joining her husband later this fall is unknown. But viewers are just as excited to hear from season 21 coaches — John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande — about their plans this September.

Only time, or in this case duets, will tell!
