Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton

As Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other key holidays are right around the corner, many families are getting ready to celebrate, which often includes family traditions that they do year after year.

For country singer Blake Shelton and wife Gwen Stefani, they have a unique tradition that they do each year with her three kids, Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 9, whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

While sitting down and talking with host Jennifer Hudson on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Shelton said of the holidays, "We really get into the holidays. The only tradition that I think that we have is the...Me and the kids, they love to do these, they all watch, you know, TikTok and all the stuff, and so they see people making these weird turkeys."

"So, like a couple of years ago we had to make a Flamin' Hot Cheetos turkey...You like grind up the Cheetos and you put it on the turkey and then you make the turkey," he went on, describing the process. "There's really no point to it."

Shelton didn't share what type of turkey the family has in the works this year, but it's sure to be interesting.

Fans love seeing Shelton and Stefani's home life as a family, with the couple enjoying the down-to-earth life on their farm in Oklahoma. They often share updates from the farm on social media, such as when they showed off their fall decorations last month.

This year, Shelton and Stefani also both got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the former's ceremony occurring in May, while Stefani's ceremony took place on Oct. 19. During the recent event, Stefani's husband and kids were by her side in support, with Shelton saying, "Congratulations to my all-time favorite songwriter on your star. You deserve this and I love you."
