Blake Lively wore hot pink fuzz for a Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants reunion

Over the weekend our favourite sisters reunited, AKA Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn. Who could forget the quartet's portrayal of BFFs in the iconic 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants and the sequel released three years later?

In a case of life imitating art, the women have stayed firm friends in the years since, proven by their reunion to celebrate America's Critics Choice Awards nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Gloria in Barbie. We love seeing friends show up and support friends, but the sisterhood took it one step further in coordinating Barbiecore pink ensembles.

While America stood out in an off-white Elie Saab draped dress (fittingly so if you ask us, like how the bride is the only one who wears white at a wedding) Amber, Blake and Alexis all opted for tonal 'fits.

Amber was giving Boss Barbie vibes in a pastel pink suit consisting of a double-breasted blazer and wide-leg trousers, while Alexis layered a black peplum jacket over a dress in a deep pink shade that was almost red.

But we *really* need to talk about Blake's look for the event. In typical form from the wife of Ryan Reynolds, she pulled out all the stops in an unreal Oscar de la Renta hot pink mini dress with a fuzzy, flared skirt. She accessories with equally vibrant opera gloves, Malone Souliers mule heels, and a crystal-embellished bow-shaped Judith Leiber clutch bag. Her only departure from the Babriecore colour scheme was with her emerald green chandelier earrings.

While Blake's look is obviously fabulous, it also demonstrates how the actress likes to use her fashion choices to champion her people. When she attended the premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, Blake went braless in a black and silver cut-out jacket sticking to Queen Bee's signature Renaissance colours. And just last week, Blake twinned with Taylor Swift for the singer's birthday celebrations in Reputation black dresses.

As Blake herself said in her Instagram caption, "Some weeks are for the women…" We're not crying, you're crying!
