A Simple Favor's Emily, the character Blake Lively plays and previously described as a "complete psychopath," drops many f-bombs, passionately drinks, and apparently has a nude vagina portrait and a penchant for manipulating people. This is not Blake Lively, but finding that woman in her required her letting out every bad tendency she never acted on before, Lively told ELLE.com at the world premiere of A Simple Favor Wednesday at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

To get in Emily's headspace, “I just uncovered everything I’ve ever repressed in my life and was there [in Emily's headspace]," Lively explained. "I don’t drink, I don’t really swear, I’m a little uncomfortable in my own skin and self deprecating but Emily is just so in her skin and so confident and so unapologetic and a little villainous, and she’s a bit of a wild child, and that was fun.”
