Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Took a Break from Trolling Each Other for a Rare Date Night

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds took a break from trolling each other, and reminded us why they're one of our favorite celebrity couples during a romantic date night. On Friday, the pair documented their entire evening on Instagram, with Blake sharing their dinner location at Pearl Oyster Bar in New York City ahead of the main event: a Yankees Game.

"Blake took me to my first home run derby at @yankees stadium tonight," Ryan wrote alongside a snapshot of the couple cuddled up in the stands. "They won 10 to nothing. I'm not saying I'm a good luck charm. Just saying @clintfrazierr wants me to play left field for the remainder of my life. (The Red Thunder was an absolute hero tonight) ⚾️."

Over on Blake's grid, the actress posted a slideshow of images from the outing, including a full shot of her outfit. For the occasion, Blake wore a white pajama-style crop top with black jeans and matching Valentino boots. She layered together several necklaces, and finished off her look with a classic black and white Yankees cap (obviously).

"2021 revelations: I know how to put on not pajamas," she wrote, highlighting the rarity of her leaving the house with Ryan during quarantine, which TBH is completely relatable.

To cap off the night, Blake couldn't help herself and snuck in a subtle jab directed at her husband. "I love meeting fans," she captioned a selfie of her and Ryan watching the game. Looks like some things will never change, and that's ok!
