Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Do His-and-Hers Date Night Style
Is love in the air? Or is it just Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds sending our hearts aflutter with their perfectly coordinated style? On Thursday while on a trip to New York, the duo did the Hollywood version of date night when they attended (what else?) a movie premiere for Stanley Tucci’s new film, Final Portrait. The couple has a history of wearing their hearts on their sleeves, but they haven’t walked a red carpet together since the 2017 Met Gala—where Reynolds wore a blue silk bow tie that matched the feathered trim on Lively’s Versace dress.
Lively wore Morse’s gingham dress underneath an Oscar de la Renta overcoat stitched with whimsical floral embroidery, plus strappy Christian Louboutin sandals that mimicked the dress's intricate detail. Reynolds seemed to be taking cues from his lovely wife with a striped tie that played off her use of graphic prints. His tweed suit was also a match for her Chanel bag done in a similar textured finish. Much like the mark of a great couple, these two great outfits looked even better together.
