The Internet’s favorite couple is celebrating their 10-year (!) anniversary this year—a rarity in Hollywood so it's something to be celebrated. And with Blake Lively's latest pregnancy news (their fourth baby is on the way!) there's almost too much Lively-Reynolds excitement to handle.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are known for their adorable banter, snide IG comments, and stunning red carpet looks. But they’ve also built a family and a life together that has lasted a whole decade now. Plus, they're clearly still very much in love.

Here's a quick walk down memory lane, and a full timeline of the famed Lively-Reynolds love story:

2010: They meet on the set of the Green Lantern.

This iconic duo began as so many Hollywood romances do—working together on a movie set. Blake and Ryan met each other when they both starred in the 2011 film, Green Lantern.

Blake was firmly in her Gossip Girl era and was even still dating her co-star Penn Badgley at the time. While filming the movie, Ryan was still married to actress Scarlett Johansson, but the pair filed for divorce later that year.

"After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it,” they wrote in a 2010 statement, per Us Weekly.

Penn and Blake also split in 2010 after three years of dating.

2011: Blake and Ryan go on a pivotal "first" date.

Things didn't start out steamy.

"We were buddies for a long time, which I think is the best way to have a relationship, to start as friends," Ryan told Jess Cagle on SiriusXM's Entertainment Weekly Radio Deadpool special in 2016, according to People.

As legend has it, Blake and Ryan really started feeling each other while they were out on a double date. The only problem was...they were on the date with other people.

“About a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and we were both single we went on a double date–she was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl–and it was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across,” Ryan shared.

Ummm, Blake, was it Leonardo DiCaprio!? I must know.

October 2011: Blake is seen leaving Ryan’s apartment.

In October of 2011, things really seemed heated up, because Blake was seen leaving Ryan’s apartment in Boston several times in one week. Ryan was filming the action movie R.I.P.D. in New England at the time.

Of course, The Daily Mail was hot on the case, and a source told People that, “they are very much a couple. They're really happy together."

December 2011: Blake meets the parents.

Just a few months after being photographed in Boston, Ryan and Blake head further north to his hometown of Vancouver for the holidays, People reported.

"They seemed like a really sweet couple," an eagle-eyed fan told the magazine.

September 2012: They get married (in secret).

Less than a year later, Blake and Ryan tied the knot at Boone Hall Plantation in a small South Carolina ceremony. The wedding was pretty much a secret, but a local radio station filled everyone in on the deets.

“I am being told there were around 60 people at the event and that a local restaurant may have catered it. Ryan has always loved it here and when he got together with Blake, he started to bring her here, too,” the radio host told E! News.

Blake wore a Marchesa wedding dress. Ryan wore Burberry. And Florence Welch performed, of course.

In 2020, Blake and Ryan issued an apology about the location of their wedding at Boone Hall Plantation. The estate showcases nine slave cabins called “Slave Street.

"It’s impossible to reconcile," Reynolds told Fast Company. "What we saw at the time was a wedding venue on Pinterest. What we saw after was a place built upon devastating tragedy."

May 2014: Blake and Ryan make their official red carpet debut.

Nearly two years after they tied the knot, Blake and Ryan FINALLY make their red carpet debut at none other than the Met Gala, because of course.

At the event, they are giving total classic Hollywood, and it is a moment forever seared in everyone's minds.

Blake also gushed to Marie Claire about Ryan that year. “We've never gone a week without seeing each other. There's no major decision that I make without him," she said. "He's my best, best friend.”

October 2014: Blake gets pregnant with their first child.

This wasn’t a shocker because Blake had been running around town telling pretty much every interviewer she wanted to have Ryan Reynolds’s babies.

In a Vogue interview, Blake said Ryan was “going to be a great father and leader and patriarch — he's so meant to be all of those things,” according to Us Magazine.

Blake’s pregnancy announcement was a very boho-chic photo taken by her brother, according to Refinery 29. It also crashed Preserve, which in case you forgot, was Blake’s lifestyle website. R.I.P.

January 2015: James is born.

James, the couple’s first daughter, is born in January of 2015. A source told Us Weekly that the baby was early, but everyone was happy and healthy. In March, Ryan finally revealed his daughter's name.

“It’s James. Everyone knows,” Ryan said on The Today Show. “I didn’t want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media, because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, ‘Why did you do that?’”

The Lively-Reynolds fam stays pretty hush-hush, though, about their kids. But in May, Ryan shared a photo of baby James’s hand.

“Thumb wrestling isn't always fair,” Ryan wrote. “Curiously, my hand is the small one.”

April 2016: Blake is pregnant with baby No. 2.

By April of 2016, Blake announced she was pregnant with their second baby after she is seen sporting a bump in her wet suit on the set of The Shallows, Us Weekly reported.

Fall 2016: Inez is born.

The couple’s second daughter Inez was born around September or October of 2016 (the couple hasn't said what the date was), and Brides reported that Taylor Swift visited her BFF Blake in the hospital. A genuinely iconic debut into the world, Inez. Brava!

November 2016: Ryan talks about how he knew Blake was “the one.”

Call it the glow of parenthood, but these two got really gushy in the press this year. In July, Blake told Marie Claire: “I knew he would always be my best friend for my whole life,” she said. “That was the biggest thing to me. I’d never known anything like the friendship that I had with him. I could like him as much as I loved him.”

Later, Reynolds shares how he knew Blake was the woman for him.

“No, we were hanging out at this little restaurant in Tribeca that’s open really late, and this song came on and I was just like, ‘Want to dance?’” Ryan told British GQ. “No one was in there, so it was just totally empty. And it was just one of those moments where halfway through the dance, it was like, ‘Oh, I think I just crossed a line.’"

“And then I walked her home. And, uh, you know, I don’t really need to go into what happened after that.” Okay, Ryan.

December 2016: James and Inez make a rare public appearance.

Blake and Ryan keep their kids’ lives pretty private (except for them being inspo for Taylor Swift lyrics, of course). But the family of four stepped out to celebrate Ryan as he got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During the ceremony, Ryan thanked Blake, Us Weekly reports calling her: “everything to me.”

"You are the best thing, the best thing that has ever happened to me — second only to this star. …You make everything better, absolutely everything in my life better. You've made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential.”

May 2019: Baby No. 3 is on the way.

Blake and Ryan announced they were expecting another child at the Detective Pikachu red carpet premiere, Glamour reported.

September 2019: Betty is born.

The couple didn't announce Betty's arrival until about a month after she was born. And Betty rounds their brood out to three.

September 2020: Ryan talks fatherhood and making it work.

“We don’t split up,” Ryan told Access Hollywood. “I shoot movies and my wife shoots movies and we go travel all over the place and we just all go together. I think that’s been the best part of it is that we really don’t spend a lot of time apart. I get to spend a lot of time with my girls.”

He added: “I come from all boys. I have three older brothers. I’m the youngest of four boys, so for me to have three daughters has been such a ride. I love every second of it.”

July 2021: Blake and Ryan celebrate the 10th anniversary of their first date.

Blake and Ryan visited O Ya, a sushi restaurant in Boston, that was the site of the first date.

"If it weren't for this place. We wouldn't be together. No joke," Blake wrote on her Instagram story, according to People. "No restaurant means more to us."

May 2022: Blake and Ryan co-chair the Met Gala.

Blake and Ryan rocked—I mean walked the red carpet as co-chairs of the 2022 Met Gala. Blake’s color-changing, Lady Liberty dress had me quoting Lady Gaga: “brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.”

August 2022: Blake and Ryan celebrate 10 years of marriage.

I don’t know what these crazy kids will post on IG (probably some sort of great inside joke), but I look forward to it. Happy Anniversary, you two. It's a big one!

September 2022: Blake shows off her new baby bump on the red carpet.

Yup, Blake looks like she's expecting baby No. 4, who will probably arrive some time early next year. (Since she's already showing, she could be as far along as 20 weeks already, putting her due date around January or February of 2023).

And while the couple hasn't made an official announcement yet, it was pretty darn clear that Blake was excited to show off her bump at the Forbes Power Women's Summit.
