Blake Lively famously doesn't use a stylist, but that's not to say she doesn't have inspirations: Her mom, Elaine Lively, taught her that, when it comes to accessories, more is more.

“I would like to replace the term ‘hoarder’ in favor of ‘maximalist.’ It makes me feel better. Wonder where I get it from…,” the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star wrote on Instagram alongside a rare mother-daughter selfie in which Elaine wears a number of diamond necklaces and Blake has a stack of diamond bracelets on her wrist.

The Gossip Girl actor then added a bit of dialogue from the conversation that preceded the picture, sharing:

Me: mom come take a pic for Tiffany with me. Which necklace do you want to wear?

Mom: All of them.

Me: no. pick your favorite

Mom: ALL of them. Turn on The Makeup Light.

…the woman wins. Every time.

Blake's sister Robyn Lively, star of Teen Witch, commented, “😭😍🙌🏼❤️ I don’t have words for how much I love everything about this.” Who needs words when you have emoji?

The post is an ad for Tiffany's #LockWithLove campaign, which another mother-daughter duo—Lea Thompson and Zoey Deutch—participated in in October.

Lively definitely embraces her mom's “wear it ALL” maxim, and recently stepped out in a multicolored, multitextured, multilayered ensemble of light blue, baby pink, sparkly socks, and bejeweled Manolo Blahniks. Her mom was right beside her in an on-trend red coat, not too different from the one Jennifer Lawrence recently wore.

Last month Lively hit the streets in so many fall hues we called the outfit “a whole Thanksgiving feast.” So maybe she's not a hoarder, but she's definitely got a full-to-bursting closet. Maybe that's why there's a clothing rack behind the Livelys in their picture? Thanks to space and budget constraints, the rest of us will simply have to Nuuly on with our lives.
