Blake Lively Demonstrates Her Inventive Solution to a Late-Pregnancy Wardrobe Malfunction

Blake Lively, famously her own stylist, showed off her skills when it came to putting together a maternity outfit this past weekend. The actor, who’s expecting her fourth child with husband Ryan Reynolds soon, revealed her crafty solution to dealing with a dress and skirt that didn’t fit properly. She decided to combine them, creating a unique look—and sparing herself a wardrobe malfunction in the process.

“When the back of your skirt won’t zip and the front of your dress won’t button, wear both 😬,” she advised with the grimace emoji. “Who says two wrongs don’t make a right?”

Blake recently offered another look at her pregnancy when she posted a before-and-after workout selfie. “Been doing @donsaladino’s workout program for months now. Something isn’t working,” she teased.

Blake decided to share more personal photos of her pregnancy in part to deter paparazzi from surrounding her and her family to get photos of her to sell. She explained the decision in September, shortly after she announced she was expecting again.

“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone,” she wrote. “You freak me and my kids out. Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children. You have all the power against them. And thank you to the media who have a “no kids policy.” You all make all the difference. 🙏♥️ Much love! Xxb.”

Blake and Ryan have not shared their fourth child’s due date. Their newest addition will join older sisters James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3.
