Blake Lively channels season one Serena van der Woodsen with big ‘unbrushed’ hair

While the world is still not over the pics of Blake Lively with strawberry blonde hair, whilst filming for her upcoming movie It Ends With Us, she just sent us spinning back to the early days with this latest post.

The deep side part, the cascading golden tresses, the waves, the tousled bitty ends and that unbrushed vibe. It's *so* series one/two Serena van der Woodsen that we half expected to get an alert from Gossip Girl. And honestly, she hasn't changed a bit. Serena, we missed you.

While there were plenty of occasions where Blake's character wore perfectly blown out curls or straight hair, it was this hairstyle that had all the gworlies in a chokehold for at least five years after Serena first charmed us all in Gossip Girl.

Mums all over the country were begging their daughters to pick up a hairbrush, but the hair only got more knotted and the parting only got deeper. This take, of course, is a more grown-up one, with that electric texture no doubt added with product and maybe a little backcombing.

The snaps are promoting her new Betty Booze line (an alcoholic extension of her non-alcoholic Betty Buzz sparkling drinks), writing in the caption: "Drinking isn’t my thing. But for f* sake, flavor is. Homemade recipes. Real fruit. Real ingredients. Quality booze. No crap. Also a real time saver. Which is why I really did it. @bettybooze".
