Blake Lively Attempts to Destroy Ryan Reynolds's Heartthrob Status with Her Latest Troll
During these trying times, one thing we can still count on to lift our spirits is Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds ruthlessly trolling each other on social media. If you thought a global health crisis would stop these two from throwing virtual jabs (all in good fun, of course) — think again.
On Saturday, Lively — in an attempt to destroy her husband's heartthrob status — shared a photo of Reynolds's unflattering quarantine hairstyle, which we assume is the handiwork of one of the couple's daughters. “I dare you to forget this every time you see him for the rest of eternity,” the actress captioned a snapshot of the Deadpool star's hair pulled back into the tiniest ponytail imaginable with a turquoise scrunchie.
It didn't take long for Reynolds to respond. Posting a screenshot of his wife's original Instagram Story, the 43-year-old revealed that his appearance hasn't stopped Lively from having three kids with him, writing: "Clearly your birth control doesn't work so..."
Currently, Reynolds is social-distancing with Lively, their three children — James, 5, Inez, 3, and 8-month-old daughter whose name remains private — and the Gossip Girl alum's mom, Elaine. And while he may be the only man in the house, he doesn't mind participating in the girly activities.
