Blake Horstmann Was Punched in the Face by Some Random and Might Need Surgery
Bachelor in Paradise’s Blake Horstmann was punched in the face in New York City and has a massive black eye.
Blake might have to have surgery due to a fracture in his orbital floor.

According to Blake, man you probably met at Stagecoach, he was minding his own business in New York City, when someone randomly attacked him and four other people. “Unfortunately, I was in New York, and some crazy person decided to punch a bunch of us standing there, and I was on the wrong end of one of the punches, unfortunately, me and like four other people,” he said on Instagram Stories. “Yeah, good start to the new year, happy new year.”
Meanwhile, Blake told People that he’s “doing all right” but might need surgery. “I have a fracture in my orbital floor and so I am waiting to hear if I will need surgery. Have to let the swelling and bruising go down first.”
Blake also said the injury might prevent him from recapping The Bachelor, saying, “I don’t know how much of the Bachelor breakdown I’ll be doing, ’cause I don’t think you guys are gonna want to look at my broken face all day. It already looks a thousand times better than it did a couple days ago, but yeah, if I’m not doing a lot tonight for the recap of The Bachelor, that’s why.”
