The magic of Anthony Vaccarello’s vision for Saint Laurent lies in its versatility. There’s more than one way to wear the brand’s ready-to-wear as its celebrity adherents understand so well. At tonight’s Spring 2020 show beneath the Eiffel Tower, Rosé, the pastel-haired vocalist of South Korean supergroup Blackpink, showed off the daring side of Saint Laurent. Seated alongside regulars like Charlotte Gainsbourg and Catherine Denueve, she made her Paris Fashion Week debut in a glossy black blazer dress with pointy shoulders. Leg-baring and unapologetically sexy, the look was a perfect choice for one of K-Pop’s biggest names.

Earlier, on her way to the Seoul airport for her flight to Paris, Rosé showed yet another side Saint Laurent: understated charm. She arrived at the Icheon International Airport in a tan twill overcoat, skinny jeans, and logo Rive Gauche satchel. The back-to-back looks at at opposite ends of the style spectrum made for quite an impressive fashion week debut.
