UFC welterweight champion and mixed martial artist Kamaru Usman is confirmed to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Ryan Coogler's upcoming sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Confirmed by his agent, Usman will finally be making an appearance in Marvel Studios' massive franchise after expressing his desire to do so for the past few years, previously posting an edited photo of himself as a superhero in Black Panther.

While the movie's plot itself has remained tightly under wraps, we do know that the octagon fighter will be starring in a guest role capacity for the film, although there's always a possibility for his character to develop into more of a key player further down the line as we've seen with so many other characters in the MCU.

Joining Usman in his MCU debut will be Tenoch Huerta and Dominique Thorne, who'll be portraying Atlantis' Namor and Ironheart's Riri Williams respectively. Michaela Coel will also be part of the new cast as Dora Milaje leader Aneka, with Letitia Wright's Shuri and Angel Bassett's Ramonda returning to the franchise.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on November 11.

Elsewhere in entertainment, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has released a new teaser.
