Black Panther star Sterling K. Brown revealed a few of his tips for maintaining his famously chiseled physique. The main pointer, though, he distilled into one word.

“Peloton,” the 47-year-old actor recently told People. “I got the bike. I got the treadmill. I love the workout classes.”

Brown was promoting his role in the upcoming satirical comedy American Fiction when discussion turned to his wellness plan. “I try to eat well—a lot of protein in the morning,” he continued. “You have the carbs in the morning, so you can burn them all throughout the day. Hydrate, a lot of water, good for the skin, good for the tears, good for everything. And just try to be mindful.”

Part of being mindful is not “making yourself so damn full all the time,” Brown asserted. “You're good when you're a kid because you can burn it off. And then you hit a certain age and you're like, ‘How come I ain't burning this stuff up the same way that I used to?’”

Even when he’s not feeling motivated, Brown said his family inspires him to get out and maintain his healthy lifestyle. He shares two children, Andrew and Amaré, with wife Ryan Michelle Bathe.

”I like to play with [them] and be able to enjoy [our time],” he said. “I want to be able to enjoy their kids. So it's not a vanity thing. It's like I want to keep on doing what I'm doing for a long time.”

But as much as he loves spending time with the whole family, Brown is looking forward to an indulgent meal alone with Bathe during an upcoming holiday trip to Disney World.

“I want some good food because after a while you get hot, you get tired, you want to have a nice meal," he added. "And then hopefully the kids, I can find somebody to babysit them, and the wife and I can just walk around and have a little bit of fun on our own.”
