Angela Bassett made history at the 2023 Golden Globes and her husband, Courtney B. Vance, didn't miss one moment of it.

The 9-1-1 star won Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, becoming the first actor to win this honor for a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. But while fans applauded her accomplishment, some may have missed Courtney's sweet gesture from the audience.

When Angela's name was called, she walked up to the podium and delivered a moving acceptance speech. As she discussed carrying on late co-star Chadwick Boseman's legacy in the Black Panther franchise, the camera panned over to her husband of 25 years, who was up on his feet. As it turns out, he wasted no time showing how proud he was of her and took out his his cell phone to capture his wife's historic career milestone.

Though Angela's win certainly had all eyes on her, some folks did notice Courtney's way of remembering the historic moment. They quickly turned to social media to share their thoughts about it.

"Courtney B Vance making a video of Angela Bassett accepting her award is so wholesome. Husband Goals," one person wrote on Twitter. "I love how Angela [Bassett's] husband [cheers] his wife on," a different fan noted. "Angela Bassett’s husband videoing her acceptance speech is so precious," another user agreed.

Despite Angela receiving many accolades throughout her decades-long career, this award was meaningful in a unique way. She revealed that it was only her second Golden Globe, earning it nearly 30 years after her January 1994 win for What's Love Got to Do With It?. What's more, when she learned from Entertainment Tonight what Courtney did for her, she had nothing but kind words for his belief in her.

"Aw, he's a sweetie," she told the outlet. "He's a sweetheart and he believed in this moment ... I think maybe he manifested it!"

With a husband like that, we can see how Angela took this sentimental win even more to heart.
