With the fall 2024 season of Paris Fashion Week in full spring, Christian Dior debuted its latest collection with a packed front row on Tuesday. Stars like Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence, Rosalia, and Alexa Chung were among the many who posted for photos at the event.

For the collection, Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri sought inspiration from Miss Dior, a sub-brand that opened in 1967. The show was an homage to longtime Dior designer Marc Bohan, who died last year.
Held at Jardin des Tuileries, much of the front row wore looks that were black, gray and white, largely pairing them with black Dior footwear. Pia Wurtzbach opted for the brand’s black Adiorable Pump featuring a fringed grosgrain bow, a kitten heel and two white resin pearls. Rachel Brosnahan wore the Dway heeled, platform sandal. That design is embroidered with Christian Dior Paris across its toe strap.
Pop singer Rosalia wore a chunky boot, featuring a strap across the body of the shoe. Lawrence and Portman both wore black pumps, while Chung wore the Dior Boy loafer.
Many of the looks incorporated tailoring: Portman wore a skirt suit, Lawrence wore a waistcoat with a deep V-neck, and Chung wore an off-white suit amongst others. It continues on a path that Chiuri has often tread, moving Dior away from the fantastical creations some of her predecessors were known for.
The quilted Lady Dior bag also received heavy support, worn by Rosalia, Wurtzbach, Chung and more.
