Cyber Monday Cruise Deals 2023: Trips With Norwegian, Emerald, Holland America, and More

Cyber Monday has become known for the deals on laptops and toys. But if you’re looking for a more experiential gift, many cruise lines run discounts on trips too. Cruises make great gifts and range from a few hundred dollars for a few nights to several thousand dollars for multi-week excursions. I found some truly impressive Cyber Monday deals on cruises so you can stop searching and start booking.
I’m a travel writer and always in search of the best deals for trips of all types. Fortunately, I have some great connections in the travel industry who helped me round up this list of the best Cyber Monday deals on cruises. I reached out directly to the cruise line companies and their public relations teams to get the inside scoop on cruise discounts. Some liners are not offering any specific sales, but the ones who are have pretty enticing offers, but only for a limited time.
Hurtigruten Expeditions
Hurtigruten Expeditions (HX) has its biggest sale of the year from November 6-30 for select bookings made for 2023 and 2024 departures. You can save up to 50% on new Hurtigruten Expeditions bookings to the Galapagos Islands, Antarctica, West Africa, and more. Depending on the journey, pricing includes domestic flights, hotels, transfers, excursions, meals, and drinks.
The line is also offering up to 30% off its Norwegian Coastal Express tours, which has stops at 34 coastal communities along Norway’s coast from Bergen to Kirkenes.
All four of HX’s Galapagos itineraries are on sale, including the nine-day In Darwin’s Footsteps trip for $5,266 per person and the 11-day Nine of the Best Isles route for $6,397 per person. HX is also offering 30% off some of its most popular Antarctica voyages, such as its 12-day Highlights of Antarctica trip for $7,179 per person and 18-day Antarctic Circle Expedition for $10,153 per person during the Cyber Monday sale.
Norwegian Cruise Lines
Norwegian Cruise Lines’s (NCL) Cyber Monday sale features 50% savings on all cruises, including Prima Class, Norwegian Prima, Viva, and Norwegian Aqua. You can combine the promotion with the line’s Free at Sea offer, which includes complimentary unlimited open bar, roundtrip airfare for the second guest, specialty dining, excursions, and Wi-Fi.
Some highlights: a 15-night transatlantic cruise departing April 2024 aboard the Norwegian Prima with stops in Manhattan, Halifax, Reykjavik, Amsterdam, Bruges, Le Havre, and Southampton for $1,039 per person, and a five-day Caribbean Cruise with ports in Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico, departing from New Orleans in December 2023 for just $349 per person.
Princess Cruises
Now through Thursday, November 30, you can save up to 50% off cruise fares and get free sailings for your third and fourth guests as well as 50% off deposits. The half off sale applies to all fare types including inclusive packages like Princess Plus and Princess Premier, which include Wi-Fi, beverages, desserts, fitness classes, and gratuities. Princess Cruises also has last-minute deals to the Caribbean, Central America, Hawaii, Europe, South America, Australia, Asia, and the U.S. West Coast. Standard fares include entertainment, dining, access to fitness facilities, and youth clubs for ages 13-17.
During the sale, you can book trips like the 10-day Grand Mediterranean trip for up to 50% off and take advantage of the 50% off deposits offer, too. The itinerary features six ports including Rome, Sicily, Corfu, Santorini, Kusadasi, Athens, and Naples and offers 27 optional excursions to attractions like the Colosseum and Vatican City.
Cabins are still available for a 15-night cruise to Hawaii aboard Princess Cruise’s newest ship, Discovery Princess, departing Los Angeles on December 4, 2023, with stops in Kona, Honolulu, and Ensenada. Packages start at $1,458 per person.
Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours
As part of its Cyber Monday sale, from November 15-30, Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours is offering up to $5,000 savings per suite on 25 select itineraries departing in 2024 and savings of up to $15,000 per suite on some of its ocean yacht and river sailings. These savings apply to new bookings and are combinable with two-for-one fare sales.
Book Scenic’s 15-day Jewels of Europe cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest and you’ll cruise along the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers. There are 20 departures in 2024 starting in April. Pricing starts at $7,971 per person for a standard suite and includes meals, activities, butler service, airport transfers, premium beverages, and all gratuities.
Emerald Cruises
You can save up to $4,500 per couple on river cruises and $6,000 per couple for yacht cruising on Emerald Cruises Cyber Monday sale for new bookings made between November 15-30. This applies to dozens of its 2023 and 2024 sailings, and you can combine it with the line’s two-for-one fares. Prices include airport transfers, meals, tours, and drinks.
If you have the flexibility to book last-minute cruises, you can take advantage of deals like the seven-night Seasonal Secrets of the Douro on Emerald Radiance for $4,847 departing March 30, 2024, with stops in Porto, Guimaraes, Regua, and Pinhao, Portugal.
You can save $7,956 per couple if you book Emerald Cruise’s eight-day Grenadines and Grenada luxury yacht trip roundtrip from Bridgetown, Barbados, with stops in Saint Vincent, Bequia Island, Tobago Cays, Union Island, and more for departures in 2024. Or book their Holland and Belgium in Bloom trip to save $8,658 per couple on this eight-day European river cruise with rates starting at $3,261 per person for departures in 2024.
MSC Cruises
MSC Cruise’s Cyber Monday sale runs from November 15-24. Packages are as low as $279 per person with drinks and Wi-Fi included, and you get up to $500 in onboard credit to spend on experiences like specialty dining, spa treatments, and shore excursions. Plus, they are offering free sailings for kids.
A five-night cruise aboard the MSC Virtuosa to the Baltic Sea departing May 2024 is available for $799 and includes stops in Southhampton, Rotterdam, Cork, and Falmouth. There’s also a three-night cruise to Abu Dhabi, a four-night cruise with stops in Germany, Denmark, and the UK, and a seven-night cruise to the Caribbean with stops in Miami, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.
American Queen
American Queen is offering travelers savings of up to $2,500 per stateroom and free roundtrip air on select 2024 voyages on its American Queen, American Countess, and American Empress ships. From November 22-27, you can book cruises on the special offers page for voyages throughout 2024. All-inclusive fares include one-night pre-cruise hotel stays, ground transfers between the hotel and the ship, unlimited guided tours, unlimited beverages, open bars and lounges, pre-paid gratuities, and port taxes.
Guests will have the opportunity to sail the Lower Mississippi, Upper Mississippi, Ohio, Snake, and Columbia rivers while exploring top ports and quaint small towns along the way. A typical eight-night cruise itinerary on American Countess includes stops in Pittsburgh, Wheeling, Marietta, Huntington, Augusta, Cincinnati, Madison, and Louisville and costs $4,069 per person. Savings are also available on many of American Queen’s Experiential Voyages, like Culinary and Cocktails, Mardi Gras, or Music and More.
Oceania Cruises
From November 21 to December 5, Oceania Cruises is offering up to $3,000 in savings for more than one hundred of its 2024 voyages. The small-ship luxury cruise line will also offer two-for-one fares, free roundtrip airfare, airport transfers, shore excursions, champagne, wine, gourmet specialty dining, and unlimited Wi-Fi.
The Cyber Monday sale includes select voyages, such as a 21-day Papeete to Sydney trip from February 29, 2024, to March 22, 2024, aboard the Oceania Nautica. Fares start at $4,499 per guest. Ports include Papeete, Bora Bora, Pago Pago, Apia, Suva, Auckland, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wellington, Burnie, Eden, and Sydney.
Holland America
Between November 17 and December 1, you can save up to 30% off itineraries of 5+ days and prepaid stateroom appreciation savings on select Holland America voyages, an added value of nearly $700 per person, depending on the length of the trip. The deal is combinable with the line's "Have it All" premium cruise package, which includes shore excursions, beverage packages, specialty dining, and Wi-Fi.
Guests can save on cruise itineraries such as the seven-day Alaska Inside Passage aboard the Noordam with stops in Vancouver, Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan departing May 2024. Pricing starts at $422 per person.
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises
This luxury all-inclusive river cruise line offers sailings in Europe, Egypt, South America, and Asia, and is bringing back its 12 Days of Christmas savings event. Uniworld will reveal a new offer each business day starting today on Cyber Monday, November 24, for 12 days. Each day will bring new savings, such as 50% off some of its most popular cruises and new cruise and airfare combination savings of up to $3,000.
You can book Venice and Jewels of Veneto, an eight-day cruise aboard the SS La Venezia that visits Torcello, Burano, Mazzorbo, Padua, and Chioggia for $3,299. Or take a 16-day voyage aboard the all-suite Aria Amazon to experience the best of Peru, including Machu Picchu, for $13,999.
