As Thanksgiving quickly approaches, that means Black Friday is right around the corner, too. As you've probably already figured out, this is going to be a Black Friday unlike any other. While we're used to seeing sales start on Thanksgiving Day, many stores this year will be shuttering until Friday and moving more of their sales online.

Because of this, we've compiled everything you need to know about Black Friday 2020 in one place so you can focus on making the turkey before racking up the sales.

When is Black Friday 2020?

Black Friday is always the Friday after Thanksgiving, which is always the fourth Thursday of November. This year, Black Friday falls on November 27, just in case you were wondering. But you probably don't need to wait until that date to get in on the best Black Friday sales. More on that in a moment!

What time does Black Friday start?

In the past, Black Friday sales have started as early as Thanksgiving evening, but this year, many stores including Walmart, Target, and Macy's will be closed on Thanksgiving, so you shouldn't count on popping into any stores as early as you usually do. Some stores have already announced their times for Black Friday sales, including Walmart, which will open up at 5 a.m. local time on Black Friday, in addition to offering online sales. You'll want to check specific store hours near you as it gets closer to the day to see if they'll be opening up early and when.
