For Black Bike Week, people dressed to impress. See the fashion along Ocean Boulevard

During the Black Bike Rally, three men could be seen walking up to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk from the beach wearing shirts that said, “I (love) my super hot beautiful girlfriend so please stay away from me.”

Daniel Jones, one of the men in the shirt, said his friend’s girlfriend got him the shirt to wear. Since there were three couples coming together, they decided to all buy the same shirt and match.

The shirts started as a joke, but Jones said he liked it because, “it speaks the truth.”

Ocean Boulevard and the surrounding area was full of unique and fun outfits on Saturday night. There were many people in town for Black Bike Week and Memorial Day weekend.

Much of the clothing was beach-centered. Lucre Tia Triplett, had on a bikini top, with various colors and animal print, a matching cover-up tied around her hips and a cowboy hat. Triplett, who was visiting Myrtle Beach with her mother, said she loves wearing colorful clothing.

Others walking down the boardwalk paired neon bikinis with jean shorts or a sheer dress. Many were decked out, clearly having put effort into what they wore.

There was a lot of coordination in people’s ensembles, such as shoes being the same shade of pink as their purses. Ashlee James had a Pittsburgh-themed outfit that even her socks matched.

Along with the colorful outfits, people had hair in all shades. Skyy Love’s hair faded from green to blue and had what appeared to be space buns, but upon closer inspection were two bows. She said styling her wig took forever because she had to bleach it, dye it two colors, put it on and create the bows.

Along with the colorful hair, Love had on a bikini top and skirt, both the same mixture of colors. She said she loves expressing herself through her clothing and trying to stand out.

Standing out seemed to be a common theme among those spending time along Ocean Boulevard. Some women would don accessories, such as a rainbow crochet hat or a mesh sparkly mask.

Alivia Ball, who spent time at the Beach House, decided to put on a Memorial Day-themed outfit. She had on a red bikini top, red earrings and a cowboy hat with an American flag print. Ball said she has several family members who are veterans and she wanted to honor them during the holiday weekend.
