Thanks to the out-of-this-world soft skin benefits and plumping powers, we're not the only ones — sheet mask selfies have become a full-blown social media trend pioneered by celebrities and influencers alike. But the skincare ritual is about to get a heck of a lot more photogenic. Get ready for BioBelle #UnicornGlow Holographic sheet masks.
Sometime in the next few months, BioBelle (the brand that’s already nailed adorably packaged, serum-like, paraben- and phthalate-free masks) is set to release a Unicorn Collection, reports WWD. Packed with goodies like skin-brightening honey, matcha green tea, and apple fruit acid, the real magic lies in the sheet itself: when applied to skin, it will appear holographic. Hello, shimmering social media-ready skin.
The collection will include three different masks: #UnicornGlow, featuring honey, mulberry and chocolate to promote radiance and give skin a brightening boost; #DreamSkin, featuring a berry complex, matcha green tea and apple fruit acid to act as an all-in-one cleanser, toner and moisturizer; and #BeautyShake, featuring vanilla bean cream and dark red cherries to clarify and brighten. Each mask is made with the brand’s go-to wood fiber-based sheet and will retail for $4.99.
BioBelle is already known for its Instagram-friendly masks (the Purifying Black Lace Hydrogel Glam Mask looks like a mask you'd wear to a sexy party) so we’re sure the hydrating holographic masks will not disappoint. "Social is everything," BioBelle’s founder Forty Amsel told WWD. Naturally, the Unicorn Collection will be no exception.
The BioBelle #UnicornGlow Holographic Sheet Masks hit Ulta stores and HSN in the upcoming months, though there is no official release date yet. We will, of course, keep you updated.
