Bindi Irwin Shuts Down Rumors of Feud With Brother's Girlfriend With Single Photo

Days after rumors circulated that Bindi Irwin didn't approve of her brother Robert's relationship with Rorie Buckey, the Bindi the Jungle Girl alum shut down rumors with an Instagram post.
On Oct. 9, the 25-year-old shared an adorable family selfie snapped by Robert, detailing her favorite traits of everyone featured in the photo. When it came to describing her brother's "gorgeous girlfriend" Buckey, Bindi wrote that she's the "sweetest soul" and a "beautiful friend."
She added, "I love her dearly and you'll usually see Grace just following her around because she adores her."
Hours laters, Buckey shared a red carpet photo featuring herself with Robert, Bindi, their mom Terri, and Bindi's husband Chandler Powell posing at a recent event. She captioned it, "The best ❤️." In a comment, Bindi wrote, "❤️❤️❤️."
Australian tabloid New Idea claimed in a since-removed article that Bindi felt threatened by Buckey. An insider close to the family alleged that Bindi is "struggling with the new belle of the Irwin ball" and "Rorie's been taking every bug, critter and eight-legged freak in her stride—she's completely unflappable."
The source also alleged that "Bindi knows Robert and Rorie present an attractive package for TV producers and offers that may have previously come her way may go in his direction - and this could extend to one day being in charge of the family's prized Australia Zoo."
Robert and Buckey have reportedly been dating since November 2022 but made their relationship "Instagram official" in August. Buckey also comes from a famous family, as she is the niece of late Oscar winner Heath Ledger.
