Bindi Irwin Shares a Sweet Selfie with Her ‘Sunshine’ Daughter Grace: ‘Happiness in Motion’

It’s the little moments in motherhood that mean the most. Like sweet bedtime cuddles with your baby and cute morning giggles. Their wonder at everything and excitement at learning something new. Sometimes, just being silly together can bring the most joy — as is the case with Bindi Irwin and her adorable daughter Grace Warrior. The Australia Zoo conservationist shared a cute new selfie with her almost-3-year-old, and you can feel the joy radiating from the picture.
Sweet Sunshine
“My little sunshine making me the happiest mama on earth. ❤️” Bindi captioned the new photo. They are sitting in what looks to be their home — complete with fantastically drawn pictures of kangaroos, crocodiles, and other wild animals and family photos framed on the wall. Bindi is dressed in a black-and-white plaid button-down shirt as she sits on the floor next to Grace. The toddler is wearing a pink t-shirt with green dinosaurs, with her hair halfway up in a pink ponytail and the rest down in messy curls.

It looks like the photo caught Grace mid-laugh, as she’s tilted to the side and slightly blurry, giving the biggest toothy grin. It’s actually impossible not to smile when seeing this candid shot because it is so dang cute.
Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell commented, “❤️☀️.” Her mom Terri Irwin wrote, “Happiness in motion!” Honestly, that sentiment sums it up perfectly. She is full of so much happiness, she can’t even sit still!
“So much happiness in this photo 🥹🩷,” another person commented. Someone else wrote, “Your little twin. Same smile. Love those smiles. ❤️❤️😍😍”
Star of the Family
Grace seems to bring joy wherever she goes. Her uncle Robert Irwin shared a family photo this week, with him, Terri, Bindi, and Powell. Despite the beautiful Australia landscape in the background and the cuddly koala in Robert’s arms, everyone is gazing at Grace and smiling because she’s clearly the star of the family. She’s turned to her family with her back to the camera, looking adorable in her khaki dress and tennis shoes.
“Grateful for you all ❤️,” the wildlife photographer captioned the heartwarming photo.
Love Note to Grace
Last month, Bindi wrote a touching tribute to her daughter that left us bawling. “Grace Warrior, If one day you come across this post – I want you to know that being your mama is the BEST,” she wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of the two of them on the beach on a cold day. Bindi kneels down on her daughter’s level and Grace gives her mom a hug as she smiles at the camera.
“And I love you with all my heart, forever,” she continued. “I have loved every adventure we’ve shared and I can’t wait for many more to come.”
The love this family has for each other is unmatched!
