Bindi Irwin’s Delightful New Photos of Daughter Grace With One of Her Favorite Animals Are ‘Pure Happiness’

Red pandas are sweet and baby kangaroos are adorable, but the cutest thing in the Australia Zoo has to be Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace. The little girl, who turns 3 next month, is “pure happiness” in new photos with one of her favorite animals — and you can’t help but smile when you see her.

Happy Girl

The Australia Zoo conservationist, who shares Grace with husband Chandler Powell, shared a joyful moment with Grace and a koala bear. “Grace’s PURE HAPPINESS every time she gets to pat a koala,” Bindi wrote on Instagram.

“May we all get to experience this much joy in our lives ❤️,” she added.

Sweet Grace has both hands in the air in the cute picture, which caught her mid-laugh. She’s wearing an Australia Zoo khaki shirt with khaki pants (the Steve Irwin uniform!) and tennis shoes as she stands next to her dad, who is holding a gray koala in his arms. Bindi is crouched down behind Grace, holding her and smiling at the camera. Grace’s happiness is reflected on both of her parents’ faces as they grin in reaction to her. Hang this in the museums, because it’s perfect!

The second picture is black and white. Grace is just as happy in this photo, with one hand on the koala and the other raised high in a fist of triumph. How does this toddler keep getting cuter every day?!

Sweet Comments

“What a lucky lucky child just like you, to have been raised in this setting with wonderful parents 😻,” one person commented on the photo. Another wrote, “Pretty sure I’d react the same way as Grace if I ever got the opportunity!”

“So gorgeous! Literally our face every time we come to the zoo! 💚” someone else praised.

Snack Time

Earlier this month, Bindi’s mom Terri Irwin shared a cute picture of her granddaughter enjoying snack time with a koala. “Grace and her snacking koala friend @australiazoo.❤️” Terri captioned the sweet snap of Grace smiling at the animal as it chewed on a leaf.

And while koalas definitely make Grace happy, the little girl is practically always smiling regardless. “My little sunshine making me the happiest mama on earth. ❤️” Bindi captioned a photo that showed Grace smiling (and a little blurry!) as she was caught mid-dance with her mama.
