Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Is a Mini ‘Veterinarian in the Making’ in Adorable New Photos

Dr. Grace Warrior has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s daughter, who turns 3 next week (!!) is trying out a new career as a veterinarian at Australia Zoo — and we could totally see her following this path when she gets older.

“Grace spent the morning at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital in our wildlife nursery and treating her little toy whale,” Powell explained on Instagram. “It’s incredible watching her connect and show empathy towards every species. Our thoughtful veterinarian in the making! ❤️”

That sounds so sweet! And we don’t have to imagine what her day at the wildlife hospital was like because Powell also shared a ton of adorable pictures of little Grace and her little whale. In one, she’s sitting in a chair by what looks like a treatment table, complete with a comfortable blanket for the animals. Her toy is on the table right in front of her, with an orange bandage wrapped around his tail. Grace is administering some medicine to the sick baby whale with the patience of someone 20 years older!

Other pictures show Grace bandaging her toy up and using a blue stethoscope to check her whale’s heartbeat. Finally, Grace got to hold a little brush-tailed possum and a baby kangaroo joey, which were both wrapped up in blankets. She looked so proud of herself! Grace was so precious with the wildlife (both real and pretend) that you can tell she is an Irwin. It’s cuteness overload!

“P.S. Thank you to the vets and nurses for helping make her morning so magical. Best team in the world!” Powell added in his caption.

“Her beautiful, kind, empathetic heart. ❤️” Bindi commented on the photo. In another comment, she shared an important update about Grace’s whale toy: “I can confirm that the whale made a full recovery! 🐳” With Grace as its vet, we aren’t surprised at all!

Bindi’s mom Terri Irwin also commented on the sweet post. “I love that Grace’s gentle nature connects with all wildlife,” she wrote. “She is such a kind soul.❤️”

“I can only imagine how proud her Grandpa Crocodile would be!!” someone else commented, referring to the sweet name Grace calls her grandfather, the late Steve Irwin.

Another Career Option

If Grace doesn’t grow up to be a veterinarian, she is also showing an affinity for another wildlife-related career: an entertainer like her family! Terri posted a video of Grace explaining a new piece of art at the Australia Zoo, and her tiny voice is everything.

“Grace introduces @australiazoo’s latest work of art,🐊” the Crikey! It’s the Irwins star captioned the cute clip. Grace is wearing a purple Australia Zoo shirt with a Tasmanian devil on the front with purple pants, as she tells her grandma (who she calls “Bunny”) about the croc statue.

“This is a gorgeous crocodile mouth ever in the jaws in the whole world,” she tells the camera in her adorable American-Australian hybrid accent, using hand gestures and everything to demonstrate. “Dun, dun, duuuuuuuuun,” she sing-says at the end, raising her arm to show off the magnificent statue. The huge crocodile statue is bigger than her, with an impressive open mouth. Grace has fully moved on from her babbling stage, and we are in awe of this little girl!

“No way she’s big enough to explain a crocodile statue to us 😭😭😭,” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “her little voice!! 🥹🥹 she’s soo grown up!!”

Grace Warrior is a treasure. Whatever she decides to do when she grows up, it’s going to be amazing!
