Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Enjoys Snack Time with the Cutest Animal Friend in Adorable New Photo

The best part of the day is here: snack time! And while toddlers (and grown-ups, too!) look forward to a little treat every day, they aren’t the only ones. Animals also love snacking, and if you are the Irwins, then you get to enjoy yours with your wildlife neighbors. Terri Irwin shared an adorable new photo of her granddaughter Grace at snack time with a koala bear, and it just goes to show how magical their lives are!

Snack Time

“Grace and her snacking koala friend @australiazoo.❤️” the Australia Zoo conservationist captioned the picture on Instagram. Grace, who turns 3 next month, looks adorable in an apple-print sundress, paired with an orange bucket hat to protect her light brown curls and sweet face from the Australia sun. She has one hand up by her face and the other petting a cute koala bear, who someone off-screen is holding up to her. The koala is munching on a leaf and looking utterly calm next to Grace. The whole thing is so precious!

“The cutest 🐨💚,” Australia Zoo commented on the cute picture. “Two cuties 😍🐨💗,” another wrote.

“My heart melts 🤎 The pure delight on Grace’s face.. 🐨💕,” someone else said. Rorie Buckey, who is dating Terri’s son Robert Irwin, also commented: “Adorable! 🥰”

Koala Bears

Grace is no stranger to koala bears. In December, Terri shared a video of Grace reaching out to pet a koala in her uncle Robert’s arms. “My heart beats for my wonderful family and my beautiful home. I am truly blessed ❤️,” she captioned the cute clip.

In fact, koalas are such a normal sight for the toddler that she sometimes doesn’t even notice them. In one Jan. 2023 clip, Grace’s dad Chandler Powell holds a koala next to Grace as her mom Bindi Irwin tries to get the little girl to notice.

“Hi Koala!” Bindi says, but Grace is turned away, looking at rhinos in the background. “Oh, do you see rhinos?” she asks her daughter.

Powell asks Grace what rhinos say, and she responds with a spot-on noise. Then, he tries to turn her attention back to the koala, asking Grace if she can say “koala,” but she is too busy to notice. “But there’s rhinos behind us!” Bindi whispers to her husband.

“I know you wanna go see rhino, can you give koala a pat?” Bindi asks her daughter later. Grace finally obliges, reaching out with one finger to pat the koala and please her parents. One thing about Grace is she is going to do what she wants to do!

Steve Irwin Would Be Proud

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month, Bindi gushed about her daughter. “She reminds me of Dad with her personality type,” Bindi said, referencing her dad, the late Steve Irwin. “She is just awing with everything. Her whole soul being is full of passion and enthusiasm and it’s very cute because she’s fiery and fabulous and I love that.”
