Grace Irwin has a new favorite spot to hang out in the Australia Zoo, and it proves she’s a dinosaur girl! Her “Bunny” (aka, grandma Terri Irwin) shared two adorable new photos of the toddler, who turns 3 next month, next to a giant dinosaur statue inside the zoo — and she looks so happy!

“Grace loves spending time with our mama spinosaurus @australiazoo,” Terri captioned the sweet post on Instagram.

In the first photo, Grace is sitting in a faux dinosaur nest filled with baby hatchlings. She’s wearing a green shirt with white birds, white pants with yellow flowers, and white tennis shoes as she sits on the statue nest with her hands in her lap. Her brown curly hair is pulled back into a half ponytail as she gives a sweet smile to the camera. A huge dino statue is behind her, and it looks more like she’s in the middle of Jurassic Park than the Australia Zoo!

“Swipe to see how big this dinosaur is next to Grace!” Terri directed in her caption. When you do, Grace looks like a tiny Barbie doll compared to the gigantic Spinosaurus statue! Her life truly is like something out of a movie.

“Wow I can’t believe how quickly she has grown, she is very sweet 💕,” one person commented. “Grace’s style is everything! 🐊🌼” another person said.

“Grace is an adorable hatchling ❤️,” someone else wrote.

Jurassic Park

For Halloween last year, Grace couldn’t decide on a costume — so she went as three different dinosaurs! “Grace wanted to be ‘all the dinosaurs’ this year for #Halloween,” her mom Bindi Irwin wrote on Instagram. “Here we are… 🦖 Have a ROARing good spooky day.”

The Australia Zoo conservationist also shared a cute, edited picture featuring her and husband Chandler Powell standing in front of the entrance to Jurassic Park. Grace shows off her three different costumes as she was photoshopped in the picture three times: once as a green pterodactyl, once as a green T-rex, and once as a brown triceratops that is hatching out of an egg.

Extinct Creatures

Grace’s knowledge of extinct creatures is very impressive. In July 2023, she went to the beach with her parents, her grandma, and her uncle Robert Irwin. “Winter #BeachDay 🩵.” Bindi captioned the sweet video.

At one point, Grace slowly walks through the water, saying, “Like a plesiosaur!” in her cute toddler voice. Plesiosaurs are extinct marine reptiles that move super slowly, so the fact that Grace could say that word and imitate that obscure, extinct animal at just 2-year-old is totally amazing.

Her grandfather, the late Steve Irwin, would be so proud of this little girl!
