Well, start channeling that merry-and-bright spirit and book a trip to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. The celebrated historic home has put up its Christmas decorations for 2019 and they are magnificent. This year, the property is showcasing a 34-foot tall Fraser Fir in the Banquet Hall that weighs an impressive 2,000 pounds and required 30 employees to hoist it into place. Around the property, Biltmore has 62 hand-decorated Christmas trees on display featuring more than 13,000 ornaments for guests to marvel at.

“This year’s decorating theme is Christmas Traditions,” said Lizzie Borchers, Floral Displays Manager in a press release. With classic tree ornaments and the banquet hall also showcasing red-and-gold ribbons around the fireplace, visitors can almost feel as if they've been teleported back a century in time to a Christmas of yesteryear.

The Christmas decorations are on display now through January 5th, 2020, and admission runs from $69 to $99 for the daytime celebration and $74 to $99 for the candlelight Christmas evenings.
