When it comes to red carpet arrivals, Billy Porter doesn't just rise to the occasion. He IS the occasion. And tonight, Billy's Oscar 2020 red carpet experience was no exception.
Billy gave photographers a serious treat when he showed up rocking an incredible Giles Deacon Couture look, consisting of a graphic printed voluminous skirt and a gilded, feathered top. Sky-high, lace-up heeled platform boots and coordinated sparkling bracelets completed his look.
Theatre in a custom, the Pose star's Giles Deacon Couture look consisted of a gold feathered top and graphic printed ball skirt. Matching gilded lace-up heels by Jimmy Choo and Atelier Swarovski jewelry completed his outfit.

After his over-the-top hat stole the show at the 2019 Emmys and his all-white ensemble with a showstopping white-feathered train slayed at the Golden Globes 2020, (we dubbed him best dressed because, well, he was) we kind of figured he'd pull out all the stops for the Oscars — and he did not disappoint.
PageSix even reported the Pose star, was overheard saying, " “I have something cooking for the Oscars. It’s a surprise. I can’t tell any of you. Just you wait.”
It was worth the wait.
Having made his Oscars debut last year, his first major red carpet look was exceptional too. He rocked a now-iconic Christian Siriano combo of suit meets ball gown, and we're still talking about it.
