  • Billy Porter wore a white tux to the 2020 Golden Globes with an impressive feather train, and everyone on Twitter is loving it.

  • The 'fit, which features a hidden zipper so he can remove the train, is reminiscent of his iconic tuxedo dress he wore to the 2019 Oscars.

The Golden Globes are happening, folks, and it comes as no surprise that Billy Porter has come to slay, like he does with practically. Every. Single. Awards. Show. (Okay, that last link was from the Met Gala, but you get my point.) The man can do no wrong, and in this case he pulled up to the red carpet in a white tuxedo and attached to his jacket? An extremely HUGE feather train. Also important? It was custom made by designer Alex Vinash and took three months(!!!) to create.

I mean, *that's* how you make a statement at the first awards show of the year. He's nominated for Best Actor in a TV Series for his role in Pose, BTW. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest he said that the feathers actually zip off his jacket so he can attend the seated dinner without taking up too much space. It's absolutely genius?! "This is not a sitting outfit, this is a STANDING outfit," he told Seacrest.

Along with the OTT jacket, he also wore square-toed glittery boots and accessorized with a coordinating boxy evening bag. Naturally Twitter was obsessed with the whole 'fit, which was sort of of spin on his viral Christian Siriano tuxedo dress he wore to the 2019 Oscars.

So there you have it! Billy is giving future brides everywhere some major inspiration with this all-white ensemble because now all I want is a tuxedo jacket with an extremely long feather train that conveniently zips off. A girl can dream.
