From Billy Porter’s Dried Mango Look to Ariana Grande’s Birthday Suit, These Are The Best Looks of the Week

Summer has officially arrived (welcome!) which means we can break out our favorite summer looks that have been hiding in the closet for the last nine months. Best Summer Garden Party Look: Sinéad Burke

The writer and fashion influencer Sinéad Burke wore custom Gucci to the Serpentine Gallery Summer bash. Her dress, which was pink silk and printed with rose branches throughout, was both the perfect fabric and pattern for a summertime party. Let the pleated skirt give you major style inspiration for the next outdoor party you’re invited too. Pleats are the perfect mix between sophisticated and fun. Yes, (pleats) please!

Best Mango-chic: Billy Porter

Billy Porter, who plays Pray Tell in the FX show Pose, wowed us again at the Love Ball in New York this week. Billy’s dress-suit looked like pieces of dried mango. We mean that in the best possible way. The cadmium yellow look featured a train that was intricately folded, adding volume. Billy topped the look with a fascinator, perhaps getting inspiration for all the red-hot hat looks at the Royal Ascot last week?. The black boots kinda gave it matador vibes, giving a masculine touch to the ensemble. Whatever it was that Billy’s fit resembled, we’re into it.

Best Neck Brace: FKA Twigs

Another look from the Serpentine Gallery Summer party that killed (we really wish we were invited to this hotbed of fashion, maybe next year?). FKA Twigs wore a patterned yellow suit to the it-party of the week. Yellow is another color of the season. The pearl choker resembled a neck brace...a very fashionable and very very cool neck brace. Her crisp white socks under navy blue sandals will be a look we’ll be recreating immediately.

Best Nod to Spiderman: Zendaya

Zendaya’s been hitting it out of the park with her looks this week (slash always). As she amps up the press for her upcoming Spiderman movie, her outfits have taken center stage. Remember this orange dress from earlier in the week? Who could forget! For the premiere of Spider-man: Far From Home she wore a red and black sequined Armani Prive gown. The red and black colorway reminds us of the outfit of one of her on-screen co-stars….

Birthday Look of the Week: Ariana Grande

For her birthday look yesterday, Ariana rocked a teensy-tiny black mini-dress, with matching hair bow that doubled as bunny ears. “another year around the sun n she still wearing these fuckin ears,” Ariana wrote on Instagram. Adorned on her arms were black silky gloves (with rings overtop!) and a fluffy ball of a clutch. Ariana was giving major “the girl your parents warned you about,” vibes and we’re living for it.
