Billie Lourd is a superstar, and her bloodline is full of talent, especially since her mother is the late Carrie Fisher and her grandmother is the late, great Debbie Reynolds. While both of them are gone, Lourd has worked hard to continue their legacies, and it seems even her toddler son Kingston is obsessed with his great-grandmother!

On March 25, Lourd shared a photo of her Instagram story of her son Kingston looking at the iconic film Singin in The Rain, which starred his late, great-grandmother Reynolds.

In the darling photo obtained by People, we see Kingston staring intently at the hit 1952 film. Lourd captioned the photo with three pink hearts, and it truly solidifies how heartwarming this moment is.

Now, this may or may not be the first film Kingston has seen of one of his grandmothers or great-grandmothers. But Lourd has said she can’t wait to show her kids the Star Wars films when they realize how cosmic it is. Via People, she said. “I feel so lucky that even though they won’t get to meet my mom, they will get to know a piece of her through Leia. And I will get to tell them that the little lady in the TV is my Momby, their Grandmomby. Leia has become a family heirloom, and not just for my family.”

For those who don’t know, after an on-again-off-again relationship, Lourd and Austen Rydell got married in March 2022. They share two children together named, Kingston, born in Sept 2020, and Jackson, born in Dec 2022.

In a rare, previous interview with the New Day podcast via Today, Lourd talked about the lesson she learned from her mother on what not to do when raising her kids.

“My main job when she was alive was taking care of her and making sure she was OK. I was (Fisher’s) main support, and I was 7, for a lot of the time, and that was really hard and that’s why I grew up really fast, because I was her best friend,” she said. “I was her mother, I was her kid, I was her everything. And that’s one of the things I’m learning not to do with my kid.”

These Hollywood grandparents aren’t baking cookies or playing Bingo — they’re in their prime of life.
