Billie Eilish Told a Fan Who Stole Her Ring at ACL Festival to "Take Care" of It

"Ugh..."

When you're as popular as Billie Eilish, you're bound to sell out stadiums, hit the top of the pop charts, collaborate with Justin Bieber, and…have your ring stolen off your hand by a fan?! Yes, you read that right. A Billie fan seemingly swiped a ring off the musician as she was performing, which leaves us with a few questions, namely, how does one even do that?

According to BuzzFeed, Billie was performing at the Austin City Limits Festival in Texas when she realized a part of her ensemble had suddenly gone missing: one of her rings. "Somebody stole my f*cking ring," she told the crowd, and they began to boo in solidarity with the 17-year-old star. However, she didn't seem too upset about it. "Ugh, guess that's my fault. Keep that sh*t. Take care of that sh*t," she told whoever had swiped the jewelry.

It's never okay to steal, and while we know it can be incredibly exciting to be close to your favorite pop stars and celebrities, taking their personal property isn't cool — it's a crime, and it's incredibly disrespectful of their space and safety. The crowd wasn't too happy about the theft, either, and they began to chant, "Give it back" while Billie was performing, leading her to smile, shrug, and ask them to chill out. "The ring is gone for good. It's okay, don't worry about it," she said. "Whoever has that sh*t though, take care of it, okay?" A very Billie reaction indeed.

Eagle-eyed fans took to Twitter to see if they could crack the case of the stolen ring, while others begged for its safe return. One fan tagged Billie in a video clip of the star interacting with the crowd, writing, "I think I know when your ring got stolen." Another tried to encourage whoever took the ring to return it and pleaded with fans to be more respectful of the musician. "Yall im so p*ssed off about the ring situation, seriously show some respect for billie, you all pay to see her in concert because you ‘love her’ yet you take her belongings, i honestly cant believe this. do.not.take.billies.stuff. 😒" they tweeted.

The ring has yet to surface, but it seems as though Billie Eilish is okay with the loss, though we wouldn't be surprised if she decides to skip the jewelry next time.
