Billie Eilish Skipped the 2019 Teen Choice Awards and I Can't Get Over It
The 2019 Teen Choice Awards is great and all, but you know what would make it even better? Billie Eilish.
The teen superstar who is breaking records is clearly just getting started, which is why it's a bummer she's not at the award show. Because anytime Billie's around, things get 1000x more interesting.
Billie is nominated for Choice Female Artist, Choice Song: Female Artist ("Bad Guy"), Choice Breakout Artist, and Choice Summer Tour (When We All Fall Asleep World Tour).
At the time of this writing, only the winner for Choice Female Artist had been revealed. Sadly, Billie lost to Lauren Jauregui, but she could still take home a surfboard or two before the night's over.
Sooooo, with all those nominations, where is she?! One plausible theory: She's resting. Billie shared on her Instagram Stories recently how late she stayed up working on a new music video.
While she posted those many hours before the TCAs started, it makes sense she'd want to skip the awards and take some much needed R&R. That, or she was so hyped, she went back to making more music for us because she's just amazing like that.
Orrrrrrrrrr, she's busy creating her super secret, shhhh-don't-tell-a-soul, underground museum dedicated to all things Justin Bieber. Though, that last one *may* just be part of the fan-fiction I'm writing. Who's to say?
