Billie Eilish Shut Down the 2022 Met Gala Red Carpet in an Eco-Friendly Corset Gown

Billie Eilish just took the 2022 Met Gala theme of “Gilded Glamour” to a whole new level and we are LOVING it.
The “Happier Than Ever” artist arrived on the red carpet in a sage and cream corset gown from Gucci, adorned with lace sleeves and a floral lilac-hued center appliqué. Someone call Queen Charlotte and Lady Whistledown because this ensemble is *truly* giving Bridgerton with an edgy twist.
Billie completed the look with a swept, tousled updo, which allowed her dangly silver earrings and black crystal-embellished choker to shine.
If the details weren’t already mind-blowing enough, the singer also revealed that the gown was constructed from already existing materials. “We just wanted to be as eco-friendly as possible,” she told Met Gala red carpet co-host La La Anthony.
Billie, who co-hosted the 2021 Met Gala alongside Timothée Chalamet, Naomi Osaka, and Amanda Gorman, said she was most excited to have fun and see friends inside the event. “I’m in a good place, I feel very excited to see some friends, and feel less kind of nervous than I was last time,” she told La La. “I just want to have fun, and just talk, and socialize.”
