Billie Eilish Shows Off Her 'Nasty' Fridge, Says It's Proof Of Her Current Relationship Status

Billie Eilish and ex-boyfriend Jesse Rutherford officially ended their relationship in May 2023. And now, the "Bad Guy" singer is taking to Instagram with proof that she "couldn't be more single."
Eilish shared several photos of the disastrous state of her refrigerator last week. And while a Diet Coke explosion is at least in part responsible for the mess, she's certainly no Cameron Diaz or Gwyneth Paltrow when it comes to organization. Her shelves are brimming with random food containers (including nuts? In the freezer??).
"I'm so dead literally couldn't be more single right now LMFAO what the hell is all this," she wrote on Instagram stories, per PEOPLE.
Fans quickly took to X to call out the pop star for her messy ways. "That’s gross. All that money and you don’t have a cleaning service," one user wrote on the social media platform. "Okay this is gross. What on earth," another added.
"That had nothing to do with being single," a third person wrote. "She's just nasty."
As for the Coke explosion, it looks as if Eilish was *trying* to participate in the TikTok viral crispy Coke trend, which includes freezing the can to achieve a slushy-like consistency. Of course, there is a way to successfully execute the challenge without ruining your entire fridge in the process.
According to TikToker @Hauskris, the key to getting a "perfect, stunning, beautiful, crispy" Diet Coke, is actually by letting the soda "marinate" in the fridge for two weeks. "The longer it's been in the fridge, the crispier it will be," she says in the video. The minimum amount of time in the fridge is no less than two days. Are you taking notes, Billie?
She also advises viewers to freeze their straw and glass ahead of time, and use True Citrus crystals. "This has been in the freezer for... a long time," she says.
"The level of love put into this Diet Coke is honestly inspiring," one user commented on the video.
