Billie Eilish Rocked a Basketball Purse

As one does.

Thanks to Billie Eilish, we've quickly realized that any ordinary item can be turned into something stylish. The "Bad Guy" singer already demonstrated that Ikea's iconic blue bags can become detailing on a top, and for her latest look, she took a basketball and made it fashion.

If your holiday presents included any athletic items, you may wanna pay attention. In one of her latest 'grams, the singer rocked a basketball as a purse. Yep, you read that correctly. Showing off the outfit on Instagram, she posed with the accessory, which she coordinated with an all-red ensemble that included sunglasses, a scarf, and sneakers. Despite our adoration for the outfit, Billie seemed to think otherwise, captioning the photo, "one of the worst outfits ive ever put together."

As you can see in the photograph, it appears as if the purse is functional. A zipper lines the top of the ball, and it features a handle for carrying or a strap for wearing it over the shoulder. It's unclear what Billie had stashed in the bag, but I'd definitely use it to hold my snacks.

Naturally, the basketball turned accessory caught the attention of Instagram followers. "That bag goes crazy wtf," one person wrote. Others called the look "iconic," writing, "That’s the coolest f*cking bag I ever did see."

The look definitely takes the world of athleisure to new heights, and when paired with her signature neon green roots, the singer truly made the trend her own.

Recreating this look at home might not be as simple as just grabbing a spare basketball from your garage, but there are plenty of sports-inspired options to jazz up your OOTDs. Add a pair of mesh floral print shorts or a sporty tank for an easy DIY option, and of course, you can always wear a pair of sporty kicks with any outfit.
