The singer hit the Vanity Fair Oscars Party red carpet in a gown so voluminous that it almost took her down.

Billie Eilish, 21, went all-black for the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars Party in a billowing black Rick Owens gown with an extensive train, and while she looked fantastic, the star almost took a very public fall.

In a TikTok video posted by VOGUE Germany, Eilish attempted to move from one photo spot to another on the red carpet when she lost her balance, tilting to the side.

Luckily, she caught herself, smiling shyly as she moved on.

Along with the dress, which had ample fabric in the front and the back, Eilish also wore very high-heeled boots, which likely added to her difficulty walking.

Many of the Grammy-winning singer's fans noticed the misstep in the short video, with one wondering why this was the clip VOGUE Germany decided to post: "Why did u post the one clip of her falling😭."

Another joked around, as Eilish is known for being a little clumsy, and said, "CLASSIC BILLIE ALOMST [sic] FALLING."

But Eilish wasn't the only person who almost took a tumble on Oscars night, as Elizabeth Banks also stumbled on stage as she went up to present an award, but she managed to right herself and smoothly continued to the microphone.

Despite her almost-fall, Eilish stunned with her red carpet look, and people couldn't get enough.

Fans complimented the star in the comments, writing things like, "OMGG SHE LOOKS STUNNING," and "she’s so beautiful Ahhh omg I can’t get over her smile 💗 x." In particular, people really liked the styling of her long, straight hair.

Eilish didn't attend the award ceremony, but she joined many big names at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party with her boyfriend, The Neighbourhood singer Jesse Rutherford, 31.

Other people in attendance at the party were Kate Hudson, Vanessa Hudgens, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, new Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, and many more.
