Billie Eilish Got a Bob with Straight Bangs

After shocking the world with a blonde hair reveal (and letting everyone know that it was hidden under a wig), Billie Eilish is switching things up again. In a video posted to her Instagram feed, Eilish showed off a new chop, with her now-platinum hair barely grazing her collarbones and her once-shaggy curtain bangs trimmed up to a more straight-across, blunt style.

She posted the clip with nothing more than a dove emoji, though the short video does give a glimpse into how the new length moves.

Earlier this year, before she revealed the blonde hair, Eilish teased a big change to her fans, saying that after her Apple TV+ documentary, The World's A Little Blurry, came out, she's be starting "a new era."

"I'm changing it after the doc comes out," she said. "It will be the end of an era. I'm going to give you a new era."

Harper's Bazaar notes that although fans are probably most familiar with Eilish's acid-green strands, she's a natural blonde, though she's had silver, violet, black, and blue hair in the past.

She opened up to BuzzFeed about how hard it is to keep up with a bold color and worse, what it's like to try to get rid of one that she's not that into.

"I was told that whoever dyed my hair in October used a permanent blue, so that shit is not coming out," she said back in 2019. "I have sat in that stupid salon chair for hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, and hours trying to get that blue out, and that bitch will not get the fuck out of my hair."
