This has truly been Billie Eilish's year. The 19-year-old released her sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, served as a co-chair at the 2021 Met Gala (which was also her first-ever), and was named as one of TIME magazine's 100 influential people of the year. The "Your Power" singer also took on creative projects, like releasing her first fragrance and a sneaker collab with Air Jordan. So, what better way to close out 2021 than by having double duty on Saturday Night Live?

Billie shared the news on Instagram and could barely contain her excitement. "AHHHHHH!!! I'M HOSTING AND PERFORMING ON SNL!!! CRAAAAZY I COULD SCREAM!" she captioned the post.

She'll make her appearance on Saturday, December 11, making it the second to last show of the season. Ghostbusters: Afterlife star Paul Rudd and Charli XCX are set to close out the year as SNL's host and musical guest on December 18.

Billie made her SNL debut as a musical guest in September 2019, but this will mark the first time she hosts the show. This means we'll see Billie in a bunch of skits throughout the late-night comedy show, and I, for one, can't wait to see her bust out her acting chops. There's no word on whether her brother Finneas will make an appearance alongside her just yet, but since they do everything together, it's totally a possibility. And, with her "Mommy? Sorry" reference on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this year, something tells me Billie's comedic timing will be on 👏 point 👏.
