Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber Released Reusable Cloth Masks to Benefit the Music Community

As the world continues to face the COVID-19 global pandemic, the CDC has begun to recommend that people wear cloth face masks when out in public, especially in high-volume environments like grocery stories and pharmacies, to help slow the potential spread of the virus. You may have already made a few of your own masks at home, but if you want to rep your favorite artists while wearing one, you're going to be pretty excited about this new charitable initiative.

Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish are among the Universal Music Group artists who are releasing reusable cloth masks for the We've Got You Covered project. The full 100% of proceeds from the masks goes to support MusiCares, an organization that aims to support members of the music community who may be in need. Given that so many musicians have halted their tours (Taylor Swift canceled all live performances through 2020 for example) and pressed pause on recording new work, this potentially puts a lot of folks — from session musicians to crews — out of work.

Billie's black cotton mask features the "Blohsh" figure in her signature neon green, while Ariana's mask showcases a single pale blue teardrop with her name at the hem. Justin's mask features his name in an eye-catching white font that will put your fandom front and center.

“I’m humbled and grateful to work with artists and partners who are passionate and driven to deliver a program that supports those that need it most during this unprecedented time,” Mat Vlasic, chief executive officer of Bravado, UMG’s merchandise and brand management company, told WWD about the project. “This initiative will continue to grow and evolve thanks to the hard work from everyone here at Bravado and UMG, along with our artists across the globe.”

Billie, Ari, and Justin aren't the only artists involved; BLACKPINK and The Weeknd also have masks alongside music legends like the Rolling Stones, Queen, and Willie Nelson. Each mask retails for $15 and is fully washable and reusable, and with so many different musicians involved, you can grab a mask for everyone in your family — and make a difference at the same time.
